Madonna’s Album Premiere Became TikTok LIVE’s Biggest Artist Broadcast
The hour-long iHeartRadio and TikTok LIVE premiere put Madonna, Stuart Price and Lola Leon into a listening party and fan Q&A on the eve of Confessions II’s release.

The company’s claim is limited to a single-artist program and does not cover every TikTok LIVE broadcast.
The hour-long iHeartRadio and TikTok LIVE Premiere aired one day before Confessions II was released. Bob the Drag Queen hosted Madonna, producer Stuart Price and Lola Leon, who appears on the album track “The Test,” for a conversation that moved between a listening party and fan Q&A. Madonna discussed reuniting with Price after 15 years, recording with Leon and making the album while grieving her brother Christopher and her stepmother.
TikTok said the broadcast generated more than 5.75 million likes and 139,000 comments. Viewers could vote in polls, submit confessions and use custom LIVE features, while iHeartRadio carried the event audio across more than 200 stations. Its Hit Nation digital station also accepted fan confessions through a talkback feature.
The premiere was one part of a larger release campaign. TikTok opened House of Confessions pop-ups in New York and London with listening sessions, a limited-edition vinyl release, photo installations and spaces for fans and creators to make content. An in-app Confessions II experience offered a custom profile frame and other rewards for completing tasks tied to searches for Madonna and the album.
The LIVE provided the campaign’s scheduled center. The artist interview, first listens, fan questions, live polls, radio audio, physical pop-ups and in-app rewards all landed around the album’s release window. TikTok’s announcement offers an attendance total for the center event, while the surrounding activation shows how the platform connected broadcast video to radio, search and in-person fan activity.
TikTok announced the record on July 13. Deadline reported the same day that the platform had disclosed more than 2.1 million viewers worldwide, and Net Influencer followed with its report on July 15. TikTok’s release body rounds the audience to 2.1 million after giving the more precise total in its headline.
TikTok labelled its audience figure as unique viewers across the broadcast. A peak-concurrency figure would show the largest audience watching at one moment, and TikTok did not publish one. The company also did not disclose watch time or attributable album streams and sales. Those missing measures limit what can be concluded about how deeply viewers watched or whether the live event converted attention into revenue.
