ShopMy Spotlights Turns Affiliate Posts Into Meta and TikTok Ads. MUTHA Cites 140% GMV Lift.

ShopMy opened Spotlights so brands can run proven creator affiliate posts as Meta Partnership Ads and TikTok Spark Ads — paying commission instead of an upfront production fee.

The 30 September PR Newswire release from Shop My Shelf, Inc. frames the product as the paid-media leg of an existing affiliate stack (Affiliate, Opportunities, Lookbooks). Spotlights surfaces organic posts already driving affiliate sales inside ShopMy, then amplifies them under the creator's handle: Partnership Ads on Instagram and Facebook, Spark Ads on TikTok. Creators approve once via Instant Spotlights or review each request; ShopMy's creator FAQ says they have seven days to accept, can pause anytime, and keep the same ShopMy commission rate on the post — no separate usage fee. On TikTok, the FAQ says Spotlights send shoppers to the brand site through the ShopMy link, not TikTok Shop, and that deleting the original post takes the Spark Ad down with it. TikTok's Content Suite API is the pipe ShopMy cites for connecting affiliate content to Spark Ads; Jeffrey Huai, TikTok's Global Product Lead for Creator Ads, is quoted in the release.

The stake ShopMy puts on the table is MUTHA. The luxury skincare brand, per ShopMy, grew live partnership ads to more than 100 in a single month, lifted gross merchandise value 140 per cent over its pre-Spotlights monthly average, and saw a 55 per cent lift over its standard Meta ROAS. Creators earning through MUTHA rose roughly 62 per cent over the same window. Treat those as company-cited early results, not an audited category benchmark. MUTHA's VP of sales and marketing, Mick Burchfield, said in the release the brand will shift more paid media spend into Spotlights.

Platform comparisons in the same release are attributed, not ShopMy's own book. ShopMy cites Meta data that creator-led ads drive 13 per cent higher click-through rates and 19 per cent lower cost-per-acquisition than standard ads, and says brands using TikTok Spark Ads have seen up to 25 per cent higher CTR and 24 per cent higher conversion rates versus standard in-feed ads.

Creator-side economics stay affiliate-native. New York fashion and lifestyle creator Marissa Huertas-Crespo, named in the release, said she now earns more than 60 per cent of her lifetime ShopMy commissions through Spotlights after turning on Instant Spotlights — including older posts getting a second, third, or fourth run.

Scale context, not the news: ShopMy said in October 2025 it raised $70 million at a $1.5 billion valuation; the Spotlights release puts the curator network above 330,000, up from more than 185,000 at the raise. Spotlights is available now to ShopMy brand partners.

What still is not public is a blended ROAS across the Spotlights book, commission-rate distribution by category, or how many brands beyond MUTHA are live as named cases.
