101 Studios Puts Up to $25 Million Behind Jack's Dining Room Creators

The Yellowstone studio is committing capital to Yes Chef Studios with Jack Goldburg and Liam Henning, aiming to build scripted and unscripted food shows and a bench of new food creators — with Jack keeping ownership in the deal.

101 Studios is putting creator economics on a studio balance sheet.

The Hollywood Reporter's Alex Weprin reported exclusively on 23 September that 101 — the studio behind Yellowstone and Tulsa King — is launching Yes Chef Studios with Yes Chef Group, founded by Jack Goldburg and Liam Henning. Goldburg fronts Jack's Dining Room, a food-and-travel channel THR put at more than one million YouTube subscribers and more than three million Instagram followers. 101 is committing to invest up to $25 million in the venture. Treat that as a ceiling commitment reported by THR, not a closed cheque size disclosed in a filing.

The product is longform plus a talent bench. Yes Chef Studios will develop scripted and unscripted programming around food, culture, travel and hospitality, and will look for the next generation of food creators. Projects are meant to go to major streamers or networks while YouTube and social stay in the mix, especially for new talent. TMZ's same-day write-up framed the number as "nearly $25 million" and said an unannounced series hosted by Jack is first up; Posthype sticks to THR's "up to $25 million" and does not treat the untitled series as confirmed beyond TMZ's secondary account.

The ownership line is the Posthype stake. 101 Studios CEO David Glasser told THR that streamers have already been coming to Goldburg, and that Goldburg "wants to be an owner in that." Glasser cast 101 as being "in the studio economics business," pairing Jack with other partners rather than farming a one-off development deal. Goldburg said 101's capital and production muscle let the team "flex" on curation — shows, concepts, and other creators — instead of living only inside the subscriber funnel.

Glasser also framed Jack's Dining Room as a template. 101 already has deals with names such as Taylor Sheridan and George Clooney's Smokehouse; the food label is a test of how the studio brings short-form creators across into longform before they sell a single idea into Netflix, Amazon or Hulu. His son Ryan Glasser, in 101's brands division, made the introduction. Yes Chef CEO Jake Nussbaum and co-founder Liam Henning were in the room for the early concept haul — Glasser said they came away with roughly a dozen ideas.

What is not public: the equity split between 101 and Yes Chef Group, the draw schedule on the $25 million, show budgets, which streamer if any is attached, and whether the commitment is equity, production spend, or both. Until those show up in a filing or an on-record clarification, the hard facts are THR's exclusive, the "up to $25 million" ceiling, the food slate mandate, and Glasser's on-record pitch that this is studio ownership economics for a creator who already has inbound from the platforms.
